Farm Gate Trail – A must if you visit Lake Country!

During the summer months you will have ample opportunity to buy fresh fruit and vegetables. It’s likely that if you visit one of the many farm gates stands the bounty will have just been picked and still warm from the summer sun.

Lake Country Farmer’s Market

Each Friday from June to September local farmers and artisans sell produce at the Lake Country Farmer’s Market

Swalwell Park from 3 – 7pm.

Agriculture is Lake Country’s main industry – many of the local farmers have learned farming from past generations. Apples, peaches and cherries are in abundance along with many different types of vegetables.
