Light Up, the brightest City event of the year, returns to Westbank Centre on Friday, Dec. 6, 2024

 Glow with the flow of holiday fun at our annual Light Up celebration!

Join us for a family-friendly event on Friday, Dec. 6, that promises fun for everyone! This free event features a variety of activities, a craft market, holiday music, food trucks, and complimentary hot chocolate. Children will also enjoy special appearances by Santa, the Grinch, and some cast members from Frozen.

One of the biggest traditions, the flipping of the switch and lighting of the tree, takes place at 6:00 p.m. when Santa and the Mayor arrive by the Zamboni and fire truck.

Keep the festive spirit alive throughout the night with free glow sticks and lighted twinkle balloons. Don't miss the high-altitude fireworks show, scheduled for 7:45 p.m., weather permitting. The fireworks will be launched from Memorial Park/City Hall, making them visible from many areas in our community.

Join us on Friday, Dec. 6 for festive fun and don’t forget to dress for the weather!
